Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Rebbenclipp collects when you browse or buy, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to our website and to the retail, business and enterprise buying modes on it.

• Account details — your name, email address and mobile number when you register or sign in.
• Order details — delivery addresses, the items you buy, and your order history.
• Business details — for business and enterprise accounts, your company name, GSTIN, branches and the colleagues you invite.
• Payment information — collected and processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited (Razorpay), our payment gateway. Card numbers, CVV, PIN, UPI PIN and netbanking credentials are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and are never sent to, seen by or stored on our servers. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, the amount, the method used, and a reference number for it.
• Usage information — pages viewed, searches made and items added to a cart, used to keep the site working and to improve it.
• Technical information — IP address, browser and device type, and cookies that keep you signed in and your cart intact.

• To take, fulfil, deliver and support your orders, and to process returns and refunds.
• To keep you signed in, remember your cart, and secure your account.
• To send transactional messages about your orders — confirmations, dispatch and delivery updates, and invoices.
• To meet our legal obligations, including tax invoicing and record-keeping.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and misuse of the platform.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We share only what is needed, with parties who help us run the service:

• Razorpay Software Private Limited, our payment gateway. We share your payment and transaction data with Razorpay strictly to process secure online transactions, to issue refunds to the method you paid with, and for fraud prevention. Razorpay handles that data under its own privacy policy and applicable law.
• Delivery partners, who receive the name, address and phone number needed to deliver your parcel.
• Communication providers, to send order emails and messages.
• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers who store the data securely on our behalf.
• Government or law-enforcement bodies, where the law requires it.

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work — keeping you signed in, holding your cart, remembering whether you are shopping in retail or business mode, and protecting against abuse. Blocking these in your browser will stop parts of the site from working.

Account and order records are kept for as long as your account is open, and afterwards for as long as tax and company law requires us to retain records of a sale. Information that is no longer needed for either purpose is deleted.

• See and correct your details from your account page at any time.
• Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to delete your account. Where we are legally required to keep records of completed sales, we retain those and remove the rest.
• Opt out of non-essential messages. Transactional messages about an order you placed will still be sent.

To make any of these requests, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Card and other payment credentials are captured and processed on PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure operated by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We do not store card numbers, CVV, PIN or any other financial credential on our own systems at any point, including for refunds — a refund is sent back through Razorpay to the method you originally paid with.

Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored on our own servers. Traffic to the site is encrypted in transit, and access to customer data inside the business is restricted by role and recorded.

You can ask us to correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing our support desk using the details below. We will confirm your identity before acting on the request, and we will respond within a reasonable period. Where the law requires us to keep records of a completed sale — tax invoices, for example — we retain those records and remove the rest.

This policy is published under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, including the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. A parent or guardian who believes we have done so should contact us and we will remove it.
