Description
Instead of a conventional slit nib, this pen writes from two parallel plates held a fixed distance apart. Ink is drawn between them and released along the full width of the edge, which produces a crisper broad stroke and a genuinely fine cross-stroke — the sharp contrast that broad-edge lettering depends on. Holding two plates against each other also lets you touch two pens together to blend colours directly at the nib. It is available in several nib widths, so a set can cover everything from small italic hands to display capitals.
