Pidilite Steelgrip Electrical Insulation Tape - 6m

Description

Steelgrip+ from Pidilite is a self-adhesive PVC electrical insulation tape for insulating wiring joints. Each roll holds 6 m of tape, 1.70 cm wide and 0.125 mm thick, and is ISI marked to IS 7809 (Part 3, Section 1). Pidilite describes the tape as fire retardant and self-extinguishing. It gives waterproof and weatherproof insulation, and its high-tack adhesive is meant to keep the insulation in place for a long time. The tape stretches and moulds to the surface it is wrapped on, tears easily, grips firmly and is described as non-ageing. Listed uses include household wiring and work on electrical appliances, electronics, telecom, railways and automobiles. It can also serve as a masking tape for carpentry and polishing jobs. The tape is opaque, and the Steelgrip range comes in several colours to help with colour coding joints. The roll is made in India and sold under Pidilite's Steelgrip brand.
