Description
Fevicol Shoefix is Pidilite's shoe repair adhesive, sold here as a 2 g tube on a blister card. The pack describes it as a high-strength, durable and waterproof adhesive for footwear made of rubber, PVC, PU, EVA, canvas, leather or TPR. It is meant for common footwear problems: a sole coming away, a loose insole, a broken heel, a torn toe area, detached embellishments or broken straps. To use it, clean and dry both surfaces and put glue on only one of them. Join the parts quickly and press for one to two minutes. Wipe off excess glue with a damp cloth. The shoe can be used again after about an hour. The adhesive bonds skin, so do not spread it with your fingers. If skin does stick, do not pull it apart: the pack advises soaking in nail polish remover, acetone or warm water and peeling slowly. It is inflammable and should be kept away from children. Shelf life is 12 months from the month of manufacture.
